Anil Dash is an entrepreneur, activist and writer, and over the years has been a prominent voice advocating for a more humane, inclusive and ethical technology industry.
Anil was an early angel investor in Trello, a powerful collaboration tool that spun out of independent software company Fog Creek Software. Fog Creek is now Glitch and Anil is the CEO of this community for millions of creators to collaborate on making and discovering anything they can imagine, from apps to bots to art and beyond.
Formerly an adviser to the Obama administration’s Office of Digital Strategy, Anil now advises start-ups and non-profits, including Medium and Inspirefest friends Project Include. He also serves as a board member for companies such as Stack Overflow.
Anil was described as a “blogging pioneer” by The New Yorker and his Twitter account was named one of the best by Time in 2013. He has also written for Wired, had his works exhibited in the New Museum of Contemporary Art and spoken at high-profile events such as SXSW.
