Laurent de Saint Sernin

Laurent de Saint Sernin is general manager of commercial operations at Janssen Sciences Ireland, the pharmaceutical company of Johnson & Johnson. A member of the Janssen Management Committee in the UK, Laurent is responsible for the commercial business in Ireland.

Through his professional journey across various sectors of the healthcare industry, Laurent has had the opportunity to live and work in France, the US, the UK and Switzerland, through which he developed a strong belief in the value of cultural diversity, collaboration and talent growth.

Laurent joined Janssen in 2013 as head of EMEA commercial strategy, initially leading the infectious disease regional strategy before expanding his responsibilities to the neuroscience therapeutic area.

His 12-year career at Johnson & Johnson began in 2007 as global franchise director of smoking cessation in which he led the development of an ambitious innovation strategy for Nicorette. In 2011, he was appointed vice-president, Europe for McNeil Nutritionals and oversaw the relaunch of the Benecol franchise .

Prior to joining J&J, Laurent held various marketing and strategy positions of increasing responsibility in the over-the-counter industry with Pfizer and Boots.
