Rafferty Jackson shortens the distance to success for businesses and leaders by infusing design thinking and culture into organisational development and global business strategy. She built her diverse career through leadership roles at major market disrupters Beats by Dre, Vans, The North Face and Macromedia (Flash and Dreamweaver software). Now, she focuses on helping leaders and founders execute their goals through purpose-driven leadership and storytelling at Jack Industries.
Rafferty earned her BA at UC Santa Barbara and went on to receive her JD at the UC Hastings College of the Law before attending programmes at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. She was an executive vice-president at Beats by Dre, which culminated in the sale to Apple for $3bn. From 2007 to 2013, she served as a vice-president president of VF Outdoor, where she supported the launch of the VF Innovation Platform. Her other career highlights include receiving the Outdoor Industry Association’s Advocate Award and taking Ubiquity Software public on the junior market of the London Stock Exchange before selling it to Avaya.
Rafferty is an active investor at Astia Angels, investing in companies led, invented and/or founded by women, and a mentor at Seraphim Capital’s Spacetech Accelerator Programme in London. She is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland.
